January 2007:
Ted has been selected for the England U18s
AER Training Squad in preperation for the European Rugby Festival
in Biarritz, France at easter. Ted played for the South West in the
first two divisional festivals in Walsall and Castlecroft scoring
the only try for the South West in the final game against London.
April 2006:
Ted made his England 16's debut at the Millfield School International
festival over the Easter hol's 2006. The results were;
Scotland Under 17's 10 - England 11
Canada Under 17's 0 - England 28
France 18 - England 9
Ted played hooker in all three games over a five day period, it was
a fantastic festival with the fore mentioned teams plus, Wales, Romania,
Georgia and England B. The festival formed selection for the England
A v Wales A game at Clifton RFC on the 21st of April.
Ted was selected to start for England against Wales at Clifton, it
was a very close game with both sides having very strong defence.
Wales were in front all game and with 10 minutes of injury time played,
England scored from a line out, successfully converted, England now
winning 10-9. In the last play of the game England gave away a penalty
on the 22, Wales missed and the ref blew, England won 10-9.
