CAR PARKING ON LEIGH PARK ESTATE

We are constatly endeavouring to foster and develop the Club's relationship with the local community, particularly with regard to parking and congestion issues on busy match days.

To this end we have entered into an arrangement with Flight Refuelling to make use of their Brook Road staff car parks, particularly on Sunday mornings and we are looking to extend this to Saturday use as well.



The above map (click for larger image) shows the designated parking area at Flight Refuelling, shortcuts to the Club are indicated.
This is to be used as the preferred parking area, and only if absolutely necessary, should you park around the approach roads to the Club.

It is imperative that there is unrestricted access available at all times for Emergency Vehicles.
(It could be you, or one of your family, requiring urgent assistance one day).

Can you please ensure that parking does not cause any obstruction or inconvenience to our neighbours whenever you are visiting the Club.
You can park in Brook Road on match days as there is no restriction on this road This will certainly help to alleviate the current pressures.

Wherever you decide to park your vehicle, please:

· be aware that you do so, at your own risk. · demonstrate 'gentlemanly conduct', showing consideration and respect to the residents and other road users in the Leigh Park area. · ensure that driveways are not obstructed, junctions are kept clear and 'Resident Only' car parks are retained for the use of residents ONLY. · try and arrange lift sharing with others, to reduce the volume of traffic in the area.
