Richard Van den Akker R.I.P.

1951 - 2018

It is with regret, that we report the sad news of Richard's passing on 17th January 2018.

Richard was a stalwart member of WRFC for many years and was an integral part of a very successful 1st team throughout the 70s and 80s. Latterly he was a regular member at VP lunches where he was still able to enjoy the silly banter, yet it was plain to see that his chronic illness was inevitably taking its toll.

Richard was 66. He leaves his wife Susie, daughters Laura and Jenni, and granddaughter Amelia. Our thoughts and condolences are with them at this very sad time.

Richard's funeral will be at Poole Crematorium on Tuesday 6th February at 11.00am
Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, for The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
